There we were walking down Regent Street , London,
trying hard not to look like tourists.
when suddenly....

A girl in a princess dress on a pedestal smiles and waves at us,
trying to lure us inside a toy shop.

She did such a good job, I immediatly lost my 'cool'

a toyshop on Regent Street
surely we were expecting nothing but the very best!

Sadly the 5 stories shop felt more like a kiddie disco.
Running and shouting children, fairytale-themed songs in clubremixes
played at high volume, flashing lights, obnoxious buzzing toys everywhere.

The staff was also behaving quite peculiar and excentric, i guess to
get the visitors in an even more happy shopping mood.

I started to wonder what if an employee had a rough day?

'-Employee 8251-XD , this is your final warning, please act more lively'

Poor guy.

After a while I ran for the exit, but right there, again on a pedestal,
a CLOWN blew soap bubbles in our faces.
Was this some sort of evil device to have us eternally shopping inside?

she must be in this conspiracy aswell.

Good God, they must have hypnotised us in there.

I never wanted to buy these ugly toys!

I went 1 hour earlier to my weekly swimming exercise than I normally do.
BIG MISTAKE!
Half the pool was occupied by a swimming club , the rest of us had to cram in a tiny lane.
But the worst part are what I call the chatties (always women ofcourse)
blocking a fast pass-through

and ofcourse they have to stop , blocking the entire wall.
How am i going to do a full 25 meter length with them glued to the side?
I aint turning back sooner, I payed for a full 25 meters!
Out of my way, numb beasts!

We went to a huge techno festival last weekend.
a perfect time to see funny characters.
(for the US readers: ravers over here do not dress like this , but rather normal (altho sweaty)
Any weirdos stick out quickly!

this guy had a rubber skull mask on and was working his way through the crowds with a
strange object behind his back: a purple dildo!

he'd sneak up to a group of dancing girls, rub the dildo over their backs
and scare the shit out of them. Then he'd continue to the next group of girls.
The scoundrel!

luckily for him he didn't try that to my wife, she would have reacted fiercly!

later that evening we saw him back, his mates got him wear an extra afro-wig
and he was using the dildo as a rhythm stick.
GOOD TIMES!

around 23.00 they shot the fireworks and I enjoyed with a dozen of other men
some 'synchronized-drunk-peeing-and-fireworks-watching'

We are totally going back next year!
